Program

Day 1 – Airport – Bishkek (30 km / 40 min)
Early arrival at Manas International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to Bishkek (30–40 mins). Early check-in not included. Short rest, then a walking city tour: Manas Monument, Lenin Statue, Kurmanjan Datka, Oak Park, Open-air Gallery, Ala-Too Square, Honor Guard, White House, Panfilov Park, WWII Victory Square.

Day 2 – Bishkek – Chon-Kemin Valley (180 km / ~3 hrs)
Transfer to Chon-Kemin Valley with a stop at the UNESCO-listed Burana Tower — an ancient Silk Road site. Optional: short drive to Don Aryk village for a demonstration of traditional horseback games: kok-boru, horseback wrestling, coin pickup, races.
Continue to Ashuu Guesthouse in Chon-Kemin. Free time for walking or horseback riding (booked on site). Indoor pool available (extra charge).

Day 3 – Chon-Kemin – Cholpon-Ata (170 km / ~3 hrs)
Drive through Boom Gorge to Issyk-Kul Lake, the second-largest alpine lake in the world. Visit the Open-Air Petroglyph Museum, featuring carvings dating back to the 8th century BCE. Optional visit to the local History Museum or Rukh Ordo Cultural Complex.
Evening check-in at a lakeside resort.

Day 4 – Cholpon-Ata – Karkyra Valley (200 km / ~3–4 hrs)
Continue along the lake’s northern shore to Tyup region, then turn toward Karkyra Valley and arrive at Char Kuduk Gorge, home to a unique yurt camp run by Ak-Sai Travel.
Accommodation in yurts with toilets and showers.
Free time: walks, horseback riding (extra), riverside sauna (extra), or bonfire relaxation.
 Meals: Breakfast (resort), Lunch & Dinner (yurt camp)


Day 5 – Karkyra – Tepke Horse Farm – Karakol (120 km / ~3 hrs)
Drive to Karakol, stopping at Tepke Farm, where you'll tour a horse breeding center and see horses in action.
Lunch at the farm.
On the way, visit the Przhevalsky Museum, then tour Karakol: the Dungan Mosque and Russian Orthodox Church.
Dinner with a Dungan family — taste traditional Chinese-influenced cuisine.
Meals: Breakfast (yurt camp), Lunch (farm), Dinner (Dungan family)


Day 6 – Karakol – Jeti-Oguz – Barskoon – Kadji Sai (190 km / ~3 hrs)
Depart along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul.
Stop at Jeti-Oguz Gorge for a scenic hike to Kok-Jayik Meadow and the “Maiden Braids” Waterfall (1.5 km, ~200m elevation gain).
Then continue to Barskoon Gorge, walk to a small waterfall and visit the Yuri Gagarin Memorial.
Enjoy a picnic lunch.
On the way to Kadji Sai, stop at the Mars-like Fairy Tale Canyon (Skazka).
Overnight in a yurt camp or guesthouse.
Meals: Breakfast (hotel), Lunch (picnic), Dinner (camp or guesthouse)


Day 7 – Kadji Sai – Bishkek (300 km / ~5 hrs)
Head back to Bishkek.
Stop at Bokonbaevo Village to visit a local felt factory where artisans from the village create and sell souvenirs.
Meet a Golden Eagle hunter and watch a falconry demo.
Drive through Boom Gorge back to the capital.
Evening check-in at hotel.
Meals: Breakfast (camp/guesthouse)


Day 8 – Bishkek – Airport (30 km / 40 min)
Transfer to Manas Airport for your departure.
Meals: Breakfast (hotel)
